Hi, I’m Ruth.

About Me

I’m the heart and smile behind Embodied Faith Therapy & Coaching.

My journey has been one of wrestling with faith, searching for truth, and ultimately finding deep freedom in the gospel. Raised in and returning as an adult to a strange mixture of spiritualism and a religious environment, I experienced firsthand the weight of fear-based teachings, double-mindedness, and the struggle to feel truly secure in God’s love. Life brought its own hardships—family fractures, grief, burnout—but through it all, God’s relentless grace led me into healing, rest, and unshakable confidence in His promises.

That journey is what fuels my passion for helping others break free from shame, fear, and striving—so they, too, can experience the peace and joy of living from their true identity in Christ.

Why I Do This Work

I understand what it’s like to feel spiritually stuck, emotionally overwhelmed, or unsure of how to move forward. I also know the power of a safe space—a place where you can process, heal, and be met with truth and grace.

As a trained counselor with a relational, person-centered, and gospel-informed approach, I walk alongside you with empathy, wisdom, and practical tools. Whether through one-on-one therapy, creative expression, or deep discipleship coaching, my goal is to help you:

✔ Recognize and replace harmful thought patterns with the truth that sets you free.
✔ Heal from past wounds that have shaped your view of God, yourself, and the world.
✔ Step into unshakable confidence, knowing you are fully loved and accepted in Christ.
✔ Live from a place of rest, no longer striving to earn what has already been given to you.

My Approach

I believe transformation happens when we integrate heart, mind, and spirit. That’s why my work combines therapeutic insight with a deep understanding of how the gospel speaks to our struggles. I draw on tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help reframe unhealthy beliefs, creative expression to unlock healing, and biblical truth to ground you in lasting freedom.

The Invitation

Jesus came to give life—and life abundantly (John 10:10). If you’re tired of cycles of fear, doubt, or emotional heaviness, I want you to know: freedom is possible. You don’t have to do this alone.

I’d love to walk this journey with you.
